Ready for a day of pure bliss in the Caribbean? Captain Camilo's private adventure trip off Puerto Rico is your ticket to crystal-clear waters, secluded beaches, and memories that'll last a lifetime. This isn't your average tourist trap – we're talking a full 6 hours of island-hopping fun, tailored just for you. Whether you're a water sports junkie or just looking to chill on pristine shores, this trip's got it all.
Picture this: You hop aboard Captain Camilo's comfy boat, the salt air hitting your face as you cruise towards adventure. First stop? Snorkeling in waters so clear, you'll swear you're floating in air. Keep your eyes peeled for sea turtles gliding by – they're practically locals around here. Next up, we'll break out the paddleboards and kayaks. Even if you've never tried 'em before, don't sweat it. The calm bays are perfect for newbies, and Cap's always there with pro tips to get you gliding like a pro.
But it's not all go, go, go. We'll drop anchor at a secluded beach that'll make you feel like a bonafide castaway (minus the whole being stranded part). While you're soaking up the sun or exploring the shoreline, Captain Camilo works his magic on the grill. Trust me, his fresh-caught seafood and tropical sides put those all-inclusive resort buffets to shame.
This trip is all about variety. One minute you're face-to-face with a rainbow parrotfish, the next you're paddling through mangroves teeming with wildlife. Cap's got all the gear you need – top-notch snorkel sets, stable paddleboards perfect for beginners, and kayaks ideal for exploring hidden coves.
The best part? Everything's designed for your skill level. Never snorkeled before? No problem. Cap will give you a quick lesson and show you the best spots to see the underwater action. Experienced paddleboarder? He'll point you towards some sweet spots to test your skills.
And let's talk about that boat – it's spacious enough to move around comfortably, but nimble enough to access those secret beaches the big tour boats can't reach. There's plenty of shade when you need a break from the sun, and a cooler stocked with ice-cold drinks to keep you refreshed all day long.
"Words can't describe how beautiful the island of Culebra truly is, it's definitely worth the hype 🥰🌅" - Joanna Marie
"We did a six hour charter with Camilo, and it was fantastic! He took us to Culebrita, which was gorgeous. We snorkeled, and kayaked around this beautiful, calm bay. Camilo set up chairs for us on our own private strip of beach, and then cooked us the best meal we've had on Culebra - grilled chicken and shrimp, corn and asparagus, and a delightful and fresh salad. He is a delightful guy, and great source of info about life on Culebra. His boat is super comfortable and perfect for day trips like this. Highest recommendation!" - Chris
"Captain Camillo and Nester were so cool! The vibe was laid back as we enjoyed one of the most beautiful beaches in the world on Culebrita... for hours my family snorkeled with dozens of turtles and fish... Camillo and Nester even built sandcastles with my 3 year old... Nester is a hell of a cook as well grilled up some burgers chicken and the shrimp was delicious! The boat had the music going while i laid out enjoying the hammock my wife and friends enjoyed their adult beverages ... we all did jumps of the boat into the crystal clear water! Booking process was easy... paypal Camillo a deposit and paid the rest in person and had one of the best days of my life! Thanks so much guys!!!" - Salvatore
While this trip isn't specifically focused on fishing, the marine life you'll encounter is nothing short of spectacular. Here's a taste of what you might see:
Green Sea Turtles: These gentle giants are the celebrities of our waters. They're curious creatures, often gliding right past snorkelers without a care in the world. Spring and summer are prime turtle-spotting seasons, but you've got a good chance of seeing them year-round. Fun fact: they can hold their breath for hours, but typically surface every 5 minutes or so to say hello (okay, to breathe, but we like to think they're being friendly).
Parrotfish: These guys are the clowns of the reef, sporting electric blue, green, and pink scales that'll make you wonder if they raided a mermaid's closet. They're busy-bodies, constantly munching on coral and... ahem... producing the fine white sand you're lounging on. Yep, parrotfish poop is partially responsible for those picture-perfect beaches!
Spotted Eagle Rays: If you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of these majestic creatures 'flying' through the water. With wingspans up to 10 feet wide, they're a sight to behold. They're known for their graceful swimming and occasional acrobatic leaps out of the water. Keep your eyes peeled in deeper waters – they love cruising along the edges of reefs.
Look, I could go on all day about the turquoise waters, the hidden beaches, and the laid-back island vibes. But the truth is, words don't do this place justice. You've gotta see it (and feel it) for yourself.
Captain Camilo's trip isn't just a day out on the water – it's your all-access pass to the best of Puerto Rico's natural beauty. Whether you're celebrating something special, looking for a family adventure, or just need a solid dose of vitamin sea, this is the way to do it.
Spots fill up fast, especially during peak season. So if you're thinking about it, don't wait. Shoot Cap a message, lock in your date, and get ready for a day that'll have you grinning from ear to ear (and probably scrolling through your photos for weeks afterward). Trust me, your future self will thank you for pulling the trigger on this one. See you out on the water!

BEST THING TO DO IN PUERTO RICO!!!! This is not my first time to Culebra or Culebrita but this is the BEST things to do in Puerto Rico. PERIOD! Let's say I am an avid traveler and planner but this experience was 8 STARS our of 5 stars for me. So off the chart AMAZING! My boyfriend and I wanted to do a date in Culebra but we did not expect this level or service and hospitality. Can not be found anywhere else in Puerto Rico (trust me, I looked & tried). Captain Camillo and first mate Danny was such incredible host that we thought we were on our honeymoon (seriously, tooo romantic). HOW IT WORK: 1. Pre-trip communication was surprisingly detailed and prompt. Will help you with how to get to Culebra. I.E. Ferry tickets. Very accommodating on start time. Camillo gave us great recommendation where I wanted to visit. 2. TRANSPORTATION IS NOT INCLUDED but Camillo went out of his way and picked us up from the airport since we didn't rent a golf-cart so we were very grateful for his kindness. Please don't expect transportation because of this review. 3. Meet up point was in a central area. Easy to find. Right next to the restaurant El Navegante. Have dinner there after your trip. 4. The crew greeted us with a plate of fresh fruits, cheese, and deli meat. So luxurious~ 5. Took a short ride to Playa Tortuga in Culebrita where the water was so clear like swimming in a pool. Brought out the Bose speaker to set the mood. 6. We started to float in the water while the crew set up the beach chairs and umbrella for us. They brought the cheese plate, Bose speakers, drinks, and our phones via Kayak to the beach for us! That was so wonderful because last time we had to do it ourselves via Water Taxi. We felt so spoiled. 7. FRESH & HOT lunch! They grilled delicious shrimp and chicken on the boat for us. Paired with an amazing gourmet salad and asparagus. Don't forget to take pictures because it was so romantic. (last time I went on a Catamaran to Culebra, they gave us cold sandwiches) Probably the best meal I had in Culebra. 8. Camillo took us on a adventure via kayak that's included on our trip to the water pool near by. (I had to pay for a snorkeling tour separated last time so this was a definitely worth the money to book with Sea Culebra). Camillo took us on a snorkeling tour and we got to swim with turtles and saw a stingray. We both can't swim but with a life vest, Camillo gave us the confidence to explore these beautiful water. 9. Also included water a SUP board, floaties, kayaks, snorkeling gears and anything you'll need to lounge or exploring. And we LOUNGED! We will NEVER come back to Culebrita without booking with Sea Culebra again because it cost more and took a lot of time to logistically plan all the activities you should be doing in Culebra. Despite the unforgettable memories we made in Culebrita, we made friends with the crew that made the experience more memorable. BEST MOMENTS: 1. Made friends with crew 2. Greeted us with fruit platter 3. Fresh, hot lunch 4. Set up camp for us with everything we need (Bose speaker, beach chairs, snacks, drinks, phones, sunscreens, towels, floaties). We literally didn't lift a finger. 5. Included snorkeling and kayak adventure tours lead by Camillo. 6. The passion and love of nature from the crew made us fell in love with Culebrita 7. Allowed us to have quality time with each other I found them on TripAdvisor but directly booking with them will help small businesses! #smallbusiness
